Pediatric Psychologist - Feeding Program

About the role

The specialty psychology position involves conducting clinical assessments and providing treatment for children with feeding problems, focusing on oral aversion, inadequate weight gain, difficulty advancing texture, and selective eating.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for children with feeding disorders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychology, speech and language pathology, nutrition, and medicine to address complex feeding issues.
• Provide outpatient, day treatment, and prevention services for children with feeding problems.

Requirements

• A Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) or Ph.D. in Psychology with a specialization in child psychology.
• Licensed to practice psychology in the state of North Dakota.
• Experience working with children and families facing complex medical and developmental challenges.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an APA-accredited doctoral program in psychology.
• Must be licensed to practice psychology in the state of North Dakota.
• Experience with feeding disorders in children is preferred.

Skills

• Strong clinical skills in assessing and treating feeding disorders.
• Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
