Pediatric Psychiatric Therapist / Counselor - Full-Time

About the role

An experienced allied health professional responsible for providing patient care in a psychiatric unit, establishing therapeutic relationships, and maintaining a therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver basic-to-complex patient care services
• Support the therapeutic environment
• Adhere to safety protocols
• Work weekends with no call
• Manage up to 7 days off as needed
• Establish therapeutic relationships
• Provide patient care
• Support a safe environment
• Collaborate with team members
• Work evening shifts, requiring flexibility and adherence to safety standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 3 years of relevant pediatric experience, with a minimum of 3 months within the last year
• Proper licensure (required for submission)
• Preferred Epic experience

Skills

• Certifications: BLS and CPI
• Proficiency with skills checklists and providing references, including charge/lead/supervisor references

Must upload certifications and health documents for onboarding. Only one active application per unit and shift at a facility is allowed. Candidates must have proof of identification.
