Pediatric Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Pediatric Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one care for a pediatric patient in a private home setting. This role is ideal for an RN who is confident in managing respiratory care and providing hands-on daily support in a family-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to a pediatric patient in the home
• Manage respiratory needs including:
• Cough assist
• Suctioning
• Chest physiotherapy (CPT)
• Nebulizer treatments
• CPAP
• Safely administer prescribed medications
• Absorb all activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
• Collaborate with family and care team to ensure continuity of care

Requirements

• Active RN license in good standing
• Pediatric nursing experience required
• Strong experience with respiratory conditions and equipment
• Comfortable administering medications
• Able to lift 50–60 lbs
• Compassionate, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Current CPR/BLS certification

Coverage Pay

$45–$55 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule

Full-Time | 12-Hour Shifts (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM) | 7 Days a Week
