Full-time position (40 hours per week), day shift with some weekend coverage.
About the Role
Provide well child care and acute illness management for pediatric patients and families in a practice serving predominantly high-risk, urban poor children. Additional responsibilities include care coordination and communication with community providers.
Responsibilities
- Deliver well child care and manage acute illnesses for pediatric patients.
- Coordinate care and communicate with community providers.
- Participate in the education of learners (students and new employees) through clinical learning experiences, knowledge sharing, and skill training.
Requirements
- Master’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or completion of an ARC-PA approved Physician Assistant (PA) program.
- Active New York State license in good standing (RN and NP licensure for NPs; PA licensure for PAs).
- Current national certification (NP certification or NCCPA certification for PAs).
- Demonstrated clinical competence, superior verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal effectiveness.
- Customer relation skills, computer competence, and an active desire to learn.
Qualifications
- Experience preferred.
- For Nurse Practitioners: Master’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner, active NYS RN and NP licenses, and national NP certification.
- For Physician Assistants: Completion of an ARC-PA approved program, active NYS PA license, and NCCPA certification.
Pay
Compensation range: $98,508.00 - $132,995.00. Individual annual salaries will be determined based on factors including market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise, and internal equity considerations.
