About the role

Join a dedicated pediatric rehabilitation team as a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). In this role, you'll evaluate and treat children with developmental, neurological, orthopedic, and physical challenges, developing individualized care plans and collaborating with families and interdisciplinary teams to promote functional independence and developmental progress.

Responsibilities

  • For PTs: Conduct assessments and develop treatment strategies; adjust interventions based on patient progress; document care and educate caregivers on home strategies.
  • For PTAs: Implement treatment plans under supervision; monitor progress and communicate updates to therapists; support children and families with engaging, evidence-based interventions.
  • Accurate documentation, fostering a positive therapy environment, and collaborating with team members.

Qualifications

  • Degree from a CAPTE-accredited program.
  • Licensure or eligibility in Florida.
  • CPR certification or willingness to obtain it.
  • Experience with pediatric patients is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
