Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive evaluations using standardized tests to determine pediatric patients' needs for therapy.
- Use clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physician's orders.
- Provide in-home therapy services for pediatric patients with a wide range of diagnoses.
- Engage with patients' families, providing regular communication and updates on goals for their child.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other therapy disciplines, physicians, and nurses, to develop holistic treatment plans addressing each patient's diverse needs.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation reflecting the care provided and communicate changes in treatment plans to the entire healthcare team.
- Actively participate in one-on-one meetings with team leads to discuss patient progress, share insights, and refine treatment strategies collaboratively.
Requirements
- A valid, active Physical Therapist license in the state of Texas.
- Current BLS/CPR License.
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and automotive insurance.
- Pediatric experience is preferred but not required.
