Pediatric Physical Therapist
Position Summary
The Physical Therapist evaluates, plans, and implements medically prescribed treatment programs for patients to restore functions, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury. This professional-level position allows for independent operations while ensuring high-quality therapeutic care.
Responsibilities
- Perform well in stress and emergency situations
- Conduct patient evaluations/re-evaluations, establish and modify treatment plans based on patient needs and treatment responses
- Provide treatment interventions for outpatient and/or inpatient populations as directed
- Document treatment in the medical record in a timely and accurate manner
- Communicate effectively with patients, peers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
