Pediatric Physical Therapist

Responsibilities
- Evaluates and re-evaluates patients using recommended techniques and standards.
- Establishes, implements, and adapts individualized treatment plans, including goal setting, treatment activities, and frequency.
- Oversees the care provided by physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation therapy aides, ensuring compliance with established regulations and practice standards.
- Practices professional development and performance improvements by maintaining clinical knowledge, using best and/or evidence-based practices, and serving as a clinical instructor.
- Supports consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures, and other extensions of clinical expertise to the community.
- Charges patients accurately, timely, and legibly.
- Identifies the need for patient and caregiver education and utilizes opportunities for teaching, including discharge recommendations.
- Participates in practice changes resulting from performance improvement activities and supports departmental quality standards and initiatives.
Requirements
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (Field of study in Physical Therapy preferred).
- Experience with pediatric populations is a plus.
Qualifications
- Basic Life Support - CPR Certification (BLS) is required.
- A Physical Therapist (PT) license or Physical Therapist - Temporary (PT-TEMP) license is required.

Pay
$31.55 - $58.69 per hour.
Schedule
Part-time, 20 hours per week, flexible Monday - Friday.
