About the role
Randall Children’s Hospital at Legacy Emanuel in Portland, OR, seeks a full-time, board-eligible or board-certified pediatric orthopedic surgeon.
Responsibilities
- Provides a full range of orthopedic care, to include general orthopedics and pediatric orthopedics, to patients of Legacy Health System.
- Such care is provided in an office, outpatient, or inpatient setting and includes the full and expected mix of patient problems and surgical approaches.
- Provides “non-trauma” coverage on an “on-call” capacity for Emanuel Hospital.
- Provides office follow up of orthopedic patients.
- Participates in the education program for OHSU orthopedic surgery residents.
- Participates in the Legacy Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement programs as appropriate for clinical practice.
- Completes medical records, coding and billing schedules and forms, and other needed paperwork in a timely fashion.
- Participates in Legacy research activities as appropriate.
- Works with infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and elderly/geriatric patients.
Requirements
- Graduate of four-year U.S. Medical School or equivalent.
- Completion of ACGME accredited residency in orthopedic surgery.
- Fellowship in pediatric orthopedic surgery required.
Qualifications
- Education Qualifications: Graduate of four-year U.S. Medical School or equivalent.
- Experience: Preferred candidates have a strong clinical background, a great work ethic, and an interest in expanding our pediatric orthopedic practice, quality improvement, and education.
Skills
- An interest in pediatric sports surgery is preferred but not required.

Pay
Pay Range: USD $517,523.00 - USD $582,214.00 /Yr.
