Pediatric Ophthalmologist - Assistant Professor - Academic Clinician Track (CHOP)

Description

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Ophthalmology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree.

Teaching Responsibilities

• Teaching pediatric ophthalmology fellows
• Teaching ophthalmology and pediatric residents
• Teaching medical students

Clinical Responsibilities

• Clinical and surgical activity at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) in outpatient and inpatient settings
• At affiliated hospitals
• On-call responsibilities
• Outpatient clinics and outpatient surgery at CHOP Ambulatory Specialty Care Centers and Ambulatory Surgery Centers in the CHOP Primary and Secondary Region – specifically sites in and around New Jersey, as well as the Primary CHOP hospital site and possibly sites in Pennsylvania

Fellowship Training

Fellowship training in Pediatric Ophthalmology is required.
