Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Ophthalmology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree.
Teaching Responsibilities
- Teaching pediatric ophthalmology fellows
- Teaching ophthalmology and pediatric residents
- Teaching medical students
Clinical Responsibilities
- Clinical and surgical activity at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) in outpatient and inpatient settings
- At affiliated hospitals
- On-call responsibilities
- Outpatient clinics and outpatient surgery at CHOP Ambulatory Specialty Care Centers and Ambulatory Surgery Centers in the CHOP Primary and Secondary Region – specifically sites in and around New Jersey, as well as the Primary CHOP hospital site and possibly sites in Pennsylvania
Fellowship Training
Fellowship training in Pediatric Ophthalmology is required.
