Pediatric Occupational Therapy II

About the Role

Responsible for assessing, planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs that help build or restore vocational, homemaking, and daily living skills, as well as general independence, to pediatric persons with disabilities or developmental delays.

Gains confidence and cooperation from the pediatric patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring and care, and effective communication. Adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal pediatric patient care.

Provides clinical supervision of assistants and aides, and serves as a clinical instructor for assigned students.

Responsibilities

• Build or restore vocational, homemaking, and daily living skills to promote general independence.
• Engage with patients, families, and healthcare providers through effective communication and attentive care.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements for privacy and safety in patient care.
• Provide clinical supervision of assistants and aides.
• Serve as a clinical instructor for assigned students.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Current OT-Occupational Therapist or OLP-Occupational Limited Permit certification and licensure.
• BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.
• 2 years of recent relevant experience.

Schedule

• Shift: Days
• Full Time (40 hours per week).
• Shift Hours: 8-hour shifts.
• Days of the Week: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
• Weekend Requirements: Saturday (as needed).

Pay

Pay range is $61.91 to $86.67 per hour. The compensation range may vary based on geographic location, candidate experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
