About the role
Therapitas has served Spanish-speaking families in Oklahoma since 2015 with one mission: ensuring Spanish-speaking children have the same access to quality therapy as any other child. We're hiring a Pediatric Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our multidisciplinary outpatient team in Oklahoma City.
Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans developed by a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT).
- Provide skilled intervention to support fine/visual motor skills, sensory processing challenges, ADL participation, delayed or restrictive feeding patterns, and overall functional independence.
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic activities and home programs to enhance progress.
- Document services in our easy-to-use EMR to meet clinical standards and payer requirements.
- Collaborate with PTs, SLPs, and other team members to provide coordinated, family-centered care.
- Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistant students.
Requirements
- OTA degree from an accredited program.
- Oklahoma OTA license or eligibility to obtain.
- New grads and upcoming board exam candidates welcome.
- Passion for working with children and families.
- Strong work ethic, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset.
- Mission-driven approach to care.
- Spanish-speaking ability is a plus, but not required.
Qualifications
- Passing score on the national certification exam.
- Current CPR certification.

- $45,000 – $57,000 / year based on schedule and experience.
