About the Role
We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for a full-time role focused on supporting patients' journey to independence and healing.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing children's medical and developmental histories, including sensory, motor, and functional needs.
- Conducting evaluations using play-based observation and standardized assessments to identify challenges in fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, feeding, and participation.
- Developing individualized, child-centered treatment plans with clear, measurable goals to promote functional independence.
- Implementing therapeutic activities, sensory integration strategies, and adaptive equipment to enhance engagement and daily living skills.
- Educating and coaching parents and caregivers to support skill development outside therapy sessions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active Georgia Occupational Therapy license.
- BLS certification may be required.
