About the role
Ambitious and dedicated Occupational Therapists are sought to join the Arbor Therapy team at the Alma School clinic. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy services to help children build independence, develop essential life skills, and achieve meaningful developmental milestones.
Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments
- Provide treatment addressing: Fine motor development, Sensory processing, Feeding skills, Activities of daily living (ADLs), Self-regulation, and functional independence
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation
- Monitor client progress and modify interventions as needed
- Educate and coach parents and caregivers to support carryover at home
- Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, physical therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members
- Supervise occupational therapy assistants and/or students when applicable
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities
Qualifications
- Required: Master's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program, Current Arizona Occupational Therapist license in good standing (or eligible for Arizona licensure), Valid Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (IVP) or ability to obtain prior to employment, Valid CPR, Current Article 9 Certificate (by the time of hire)
- Preferred: One or more years of pediatric occupational therapy experience, New graduates with pediatric fieldwork experience are encouraged to apply, Experience or strong interest in: Early intervention, Developmental disabilities, Feeding therapy, Sensory integration, Experience with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), Bilingual skills (Spanish preferred)
