About the role
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) specialized in Pediatrics and Operating Room (OR) care for a PRN position in a pediatric acute care hospital.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients during surgery
- Perform patient assessments
- Assist physicians to ensure patient safety and continuity of care between the unit and OR
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of OR experience in pediatrics
- Ohio RN license
- BSN degree or in progress
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- American Heart Association certification
- CNOR certification is highly preferred
- Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery, or laser experience is a plus
