Position Details
- Flexibility to cover Edwardsville, South County and O'Fallon locations Monday-Friday (4pm-midnight, 330-1130 or 4pm to midnight)
- Some weekends (weekends noon to 730, noon to 8 or 4pm to midnight)
- Frontline leader for a team of approximately 15–20 Advanced Practice Nurses (APNs)
Required Qualifications
- Licensed PNP or FNP
- Strongly Preferred: 3-5 years of pediatric clinical experience, preferably in urgent care, emergency or convenient care settings
- Prior leadership or charge/lead APP experience

Role Purpose
Under the direction of a manager/director, the NP Supervisor plans, leads, and coordinates activities of a department as a direct people leader with responsibility for ensuring the productivity of the group. As needed the Supervisor will perform direct patient care utilizing a high degree of knowledge, skill, and competence to diagnose, prescribe, and treat patients within the scope of a formal collaborative practice agreement with a physician(s) to support clinical services.
Responsibilities
- May participate in the development of departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets and having direct responsibility for adhering to those goals. This includes responding to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
- Manages the health care of select patient populations through advanced health assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and evaluation in a collaborative practice agreement with a physician.
- Collaborates with manager and other multidisciplinary leaders to promote professional practice models and ensure quality patient care.
- Responsible for the productivity and actions of the staff, supporting the overall operational goals established by the department manager/director.
- Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Master's Degree
- Experience: 2-5 years Supervisor Experience
- Licenses & Certifications: Nurse PractitionerRN
