Pediatric Nurse Practitioner - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the role

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a clinic-focused role providing pediatric care within a residential treatment facility. The position involves delivering clinical services to patients aged 6-21 with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and complex mental health needs, operating under a family-based care model.

Responsibilities

• Provide autonomous clinical care with an active Virginia nursing license and prescriptive authority
• Manage a caseload of approximately 15-20 pediatric patients per day
• Participate in an onsite orientation and credentialing process
• Deliver care during two 8-hour day shifts, with flexible scheduling options

Requirements

• Virginia nursing license with prescriptive authority
• BLS certification
• Pediatric clinical experience
• Credentialing completion within 10 days, including fingerprinting and drug screening
