About the role

The Department of Neurology, Division of Child Neurology at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and Children’s Wisconsin (CW), seeks a board certified / board eligible physician to join our expanding Division. We are comprised of nationally and internationally renowned, dedicated group of faculty and staff with a strong commitment to clinical care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert clinical care for children with general neurology conditions as well as complex neuroimmunology and neuroinflammatory disorders
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team including neuropsychology, rheumatology, immunology, infectious disease, and neuroradiology to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Contribute to the academic mission through teaching and mentorship of residents, fellows, and medical students
  • Participate in and/or lead clinical trials and translational research initiatives
  • Engage in quality improvement and program development to enhance patient care
  • Practice at Children's Wisconsin Milwaukee campus as well as at least one community clinic

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) from an accredited institution
  • Board certification or eligibility in Neurology with a special certificate in Child Neurology
  • Fellowship trained in neurocritical care
  • State medical licensure, or eligibility to obtain license, in the state of Wisconsin

  • Rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful finalist
