About the role
This position supports a physician-scientist-informaticist whose work spans child neurology clinical care, specialty clinical informatics, pediatric research, clinical data discovery, cohort definition, computable phenotyping, real-world data use, registry development, natural history studies, clinical trial feasibility, and responsible use of EHR-derived data.
Responsibilities
- Supports a physician-scientist-informaticist in various clinical and research activities.
- Contributes clinical informatics leadership to enterprise-facing clinical data, governance, AI, analytics, and education.
- Serves the research mission without assuming ownership of enterprise data, analytics, or AI platforms.
- Supports scalable, equitable access to high-quality, governed clinical data for research.
Requirements
- Minimum Education: M.D. or equivalent.
- Minimum Certification/Licensure: Licensed by the Texas Medical Board; obtainable upon hire offer
- Board certified/eligible in Child Neurology
