Pediatric LPN

About the role

Affirmed Home Care is seeking a compassionate and experienced Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for a 3-year-old pediatric patient in the comfort of their home in Boonton, NJ. This is an excellent opportunity for a pediatric nurse who enjoys providing personalized care and building a strong relationship with a patient and family.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care for a 3‑year‑old child with complex medical needs.
• Manage clinical equipment including GJTCPT vest, cough assist, suction, and pulse oximeter.
• Deliver one‑on‑one care in a home setting.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition.

Requirements

• Current and active New Jersey LPN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of pediatric nursing experience (preferred).
• Experience providing one‑on‑one care in a home setting.
• Comfortable caring for pediatric patients with complex medical needs.
• Experience with GJT, suctioning, pulse oximetry, respiratory equipment, or similar clinical needs (preferred).
• Reliable, compassionate, and committed to high‑quality patient care.

Skills

• Proficiency with pediatric respiratory equipment (GJTCPT vest, cough assist, suction, pulse oximeter).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for family‑centered care.
• Ability to work independently during weekend shifts.

Pay

$40 per hour.

Schedule

• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM and 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM
• Sunday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM and 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM
• Total: approximately 27 hours per week.
