Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurse

About the role

Expand your pediatric care experience with Affirmed Home Care. We are seeking compassionate, experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care to pediatric clients in their homes throughout Fairfield County, Connecticut.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care to pediatric clients in their homes
• Adhere to established protocols and guidelines for pediatric care
• Assess and document client needs and progress
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare providers
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards

Requirements

• Active Connecticut Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Current BLS Certification
• Minimum one year of pediatric nursing experience preferred (home care, hospital, or acute care)
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Current physical examination completed within the past 12 months
• Current TB screening (PPD or QuantiFERON completed within the last year) or chest X-ray documentation, if applicable
