Pediatric Intensivist

About the role

Pediatrix Medical Group has an exciting opportunity for BC/BE pediatric intensivists to join their current group of 5 board certified Pediatric Critical Care Providers at Bon Secours/Mercy St. Mary’s Hospital. Ideal candidates will be strong clinicians who work well as part of a team, adhere to evidence-based clinical guidelines, and provide high quality care.

Responsibilities

• 6-physician practice with in-house call block scheduling available with 12 hour shifts M-F and 24 hour shifts on weekends
• Robust sub-specialty support available, including Peds GI, Endocrinology, Surgery, Pulmonology, Neurology, Infectious Disease, Orthopedics and Urology
• Physicians will be part of a comprehensive care team of pediatric critical care specialists and pediatric hospitalists
• Shared coverage of two day per week sedation program
• Covering the 10-bed PICU with an ADC of 7
