Pediatric ICU Nurse

About the role

Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to pediatric and adolescent patients in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Educate and support patients' families throughout hospitalization and discharge.
• Deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced, family-centered environment.
• Provide family-centered, compassionate nursing care.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support patient and family education and discharge planning.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of PICU experience.
• Current Maryland RN license.

Certifications

• BLS (required).
• PALS (within 6 months).
• Oncology (within 1 year).
