About the role
Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to pediatric and adolescent patients in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Educate and support patients' families throughout hospitalization and discharge.
- Deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced, family-centered environment.
- Provide family-centered, compassionate nursing care.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Support patient and family education and discharge planning.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma; BSN preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of PICU experience.
- Current Maryland RN license.
Certifications
- BLS (required).
- PALS (within 6 months).
- Oncology (within 1 year).
