Pediatric Hospitalist (Per Diem)

Responsibilities

• Care for patients on a 17-bed pediatric floor and in the newborn nursery supporting approximately 2400 annual deliveries
• Pediatric Floor ADC: 5
• Newborn Nursery ADC: 15
• Daytime support from Advanced Practice Providers
• 24 hours rounding plus call from home/hotel - block scheduling available
• Collaborate with a network of pediatric subspecialists available both onsite and via telehealth through: University of Virginia, INOVA Children’s National
• Work alongside a team where Pediatrix also provides NICU services at Winchester Medical Center for continuity of care

Qualifications

• Board Certification in Pediatrics with recent experience required
• Active Virginia license required
