Pediatric Hospitalist (Per Diem)
Per diem opportunity for board-certified pediatric hospitalists in San Antonio.
Responsibilities
- Pediatric floor coverage and possible newborn nursery (NBN) coverage
- Daytime coverage: 6 am – 6 pm
- Night coverage: shifts are 6 pm – 6 am (in hospital from 6 pm – 12 am and on call until 6 am)
- Shift blocks can be in 3–4 day increments (Mon–Thu or Fri–Sun) or 7 days (Mon–Sun)
- Circumcisions a plus, but not required
Requirements
- Texas medical license required
- Board certification in pediatrics required
- Local candidates strongly preferred
