About the role
This role involves providing inpatient pediatric care in a hospital setting, primarily during overnight shifts from 7 pm to 7 am.
Responsibilities
- Manage a daily census of 3-10 patients
- Perform all required inpatient procedures
- Assist with level 1 newborn care and complicated births, including c-sections
- Deliver high-quality pediatric inpatient services in a facility with no NICU or PICU onsite
Requirements
- Hold NRP, PALS, and BLS certifications
- Pediatric inpatient experience
- Ability to handle a variable patient load efficiently
