About the Role
A pediatric hospitalist is needed to provide 24-hour off-site call coverage at an on-site facility in Springfield, Oregon. The clinician will perform morning rounds across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings, respond to pediatric emergency department consults, perform neonatal resuscitation, and attend selected births.
Responsibilities
- Conduct neonatal resuscitation
- Attend to pediatric emergency department cases
- Respond to consults
- Participate in births as required
- Maintain continuous availability for routine and high-acuity pediatric cases within a structured call-based system
Requirements
- Board certification in pediatrics
- Certifications in NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- Ability to handle neonatal resuscitation, pediatric emergency responses, and manage variable patient loads

- On-site work with a shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM, including off-site call duties
