Pediatric Hospitalist - Locum Tenens

This role involves providing inpatient pediatric care as a hospitalist in a 205-bed acute care facility with a 24/7 emergency department. The clinician will be responsible for daily rounding, managing admissions, performing newborn examinations, and coordinating pediatric transports. The position requires 24-hour call coverage, with support from a team of 3 RNs and 1 MA. No board certification in pediatrics is required. The clinician will work on-site in an inpatient setting, handling a variable case load, and must participate in call duties. Ideal candidates should possess relevant clinical skills for managing pediatric patients in an inpatient environment and be comfortable with procedures such as newborn exams and patient transport coordination.
