Pediatric Hospitalist

About the role

Wayne Memorial Hospital, located in Honesdale, Pennsylvania, is a non-profit community hospital providing high-quality outpatient and inpatient care. Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient pediatric care, including management of nursery care and pediatric admissions.
• Serve hospitalized infants, children, and adolescents.
• Collaborate with families, primary care providers, nursing staff, and specialists to ensure high-quality pediatric care.
• Provide on-call coverage and hospital rounds on a one-week-on and one-week-off basis.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
• Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics, Neonatology or Family Medicine.
• Active Pennsylvania medical license and DEA registration.
• Strong communication skills with a family-centered approach to care.
