About the role
The Division of Hospital Medicine at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta seeks board-certified pediatricians to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary service for hospitalized children
- Offer consultations and second opinions on difficult cases
- Collaborate with specialists from various medical and surgical disciplines
- Work as a diagnostic team, treating children with complex general pediatric illnesses and injuries
Requirements
- MD, DO, or MD/PhD graduate of an accredited post-graduate residency program in Pediatrics or Med-Peds
- Certification: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatrics, preferred
- Certification: Board Certification in Pediatric Hospital Medicine
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Georgia
- BLS or PALS certification required
- Current DEA registration

- Experienced in treating children with complex general pediatric illnesses and injuries
- Ability to work collaboratively with specialists and support staff
- Strong communication skills

Schedule
The position requires in-person work at an Emory University location. Working remotely is not an option.
