Pediatric Hospital Medicine Physician

About the role

The Division of Hospital Medicine at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta seeks board-certified pediatricians to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary service for hospitalized children
• Offer consultations and second opinions on difficult cases
• Collaborate with specialists from various medical and surgical disciplines
• Work as a diagnostic team, treating children with complex general pediatric illnesses and injuries

Requirements

• MD, DO, or MD/PhD graduate of an accredited post-graduate residency program in Pediatrics or Med-Peds
• Certification: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatrics, preferred
• Certification: Board Certification in Pediatric Hospital Medicine
• Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Georgia
• BLS or PALS certification required
• Current DEA registration

Qualifications

• Experienced in treating children with complex general pediatric illnesses and injuries
• Ability to work collaboratively with specialists and support staff
• Strong communication skills

Schedule

The position requires in-person work at an Emory University location. Working remotely is not an option.
