About the role
This inpatient pediatric hematology/oncology position requires a board-certified clinician to provide comprehensive care in a large academic medical center. The role involves managing a caseload of 3-6 patients daily, supporting complex pediatric cases such as transplants, alongside a multidisciplinary team of physicians and advanced practice professionals.
Responsibilities
- Patient assessment and treatment planning
- Documentation via EPIC EMR
- Ensure adherence to protocols and optimal patient outcomes
- Provide high-quality inpatient care in a collaborative environment
Requirements
- Board certification in pediatric hematology/oncology
- Prescriptive authority
- Experience handling pediatric transplant cases
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility around call schedules.
