About the role
This position is for a Nurse Practitioner in a large academic medical center specializing in pediatric hematology/oncology services in an inpatient setting. The role focuses on complex pediatric cases within a multidisciplinary team and requires on-site work.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient care for pediatric patients, with a typical caseload of 3-6 patients daily, including pediatric transplant cases
- Documentation via EPIC EMR
- Exercise prescriptive authority
Requirements
- Board certification in pediatric hematology/oncology
- Active Illinois state license (preferred)
Schedule
Weekdays from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexible call arrangements.
