About the role

Join our team of 3 pediatric hematologist-oncologists and 1 APP in our mission of providing exemplary patient-centered care to children with the full spectrum of hem/onc disorders.

The state-of-the-art facility includes a 45-bed unit with great access to pediatric hospitalists and a wide range of pediatric subspecialists. All inpatients are covered by resident services.

Serve as a clinical educator for medical students, pediatric and med/ped residents, and APP students with a faculty appointment to UMass-Chan Medical School-Baystate.

Your division is a full member of the Children’s Oncology Group and we encourage participation in scholarship including clinical, QI and outcomes-based research.

This is a 0.75 FTE position that qualifies for a great benefits package.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care for children with hem/onc disorders.

Collaborate with pediatric hospitalists and other subspecialists to ensure seamless care coordination.

Teach medical students, pediatric and med/ped residents, and APP students.

Participate in research activities and scholarship.

Requirements

  • ABMS BE/BC pediatric hem/onc
  • Excellent mentorship available

Qualifications

  • Experience in pediatric hematology and oncology
  • Strong teaching and mentoring skills

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Interest in research and scholarly activity

Benefits

  • Compensation package consisting of a base salary of between $205,000- $278,000 (based on 1.0 FTE, experience level and qualifications)
  • Annual incentive bonus opportunities
