Pediatric General Surgery

About the Role

A thriving pediatric surgery program at a well-established, award-winning hospital equipped with advanced technology, including robotic systems, is seeking a Pediatric General Surgeon. This role offers a balanced schedule with clinic and surgical duties, minimal call coverage (7 days/month), and no trauma or ECMO responsibilities.

The surgeon will collaborate with experienced specialists, develop interest areas such as chest wall deformity, bariatrics, and robotic surgery, and build a robust practice through extensive referrals from a large network of pediatricians. Opportunities for collaboration with surgical residents are available.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pediatric surgical care within a supportive environment featuring a Level 3 NICU and a 6-bed PICU.
• Develop and refine specialized interest areas, including chest wall deformity, bariatrics, and robotic surgery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of experienced specialists.
• Build and maintain a robust surgical practice through a large referral network.

Requirements

• Board certification in pediatric surgery.
