Pediatric ENT APRN or PA-C AdventHealth for Children

AdventHealth for Children is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their new Pediatric ENT program.

About the role

The NP or PA assists the assigned staff attending in all aspects of patient care. This position involves practice in the clinical setting, including inpatient, ambulatory/outpatient, and pre-operative and post-operative care for patients requiring or consulting for ENT-related diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinic assessments, admissions, history and physicals, and develop daily plans of care
• Conduct minor procedures
• Manage inpatient course in collaboration with the attending physician
• Coordinate referrals and follow up on consults to other providers and clinic staff
• Provide emergency room and hospital consultations
• Deliver care to ambulatory patients in coordination with ambulatory nursing staff

Schedule

• Campus Covered: AdventHealth Orlando
• Monday to Thursday: 8am to 5pm
• Friday: 8am to 2pm
• Call rotation required
• Rotating holiday call

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
• 3+ years of Pediatric ENT experience
• Current, valid Florida APRN or PA license
• Certification by NCCPA, ANCC, or other nationally recognized certification organization
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
