Pediatric Endocrinologist

About the role

The Emory University + Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Pediatric Endocrinology division seeks a board-certified academic pediatric endocrinologist to join their growing team. The position offers a combination of administrative, academic, and clinical activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of clinical duties including patient care, consultations, and research.
• Contribute to the academic mission through teaching, mentoring, and research.
• Participate in the management and growth of the endocrinology service.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to children with diabetes and endocrine diseases.

Requirements

• Board-certified in Pediatric Endocrinology.
• Completion of an accredited fellowship program in Pediatric Endocrinology.
• Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Georgia.
• BLS or PALS certification required.
• Current DEA registration.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited, four-year medical school.
• Graduate of an accredited, post-graduate residency program in Pediatrics.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families.
• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $250,000 - $350,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
