About the role
The Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital is expanding. We are actively seeking diverse faculty with strong clinical and academic interests for several positions in Pediatric Emergency Medicine, including candidates with an interest in nocturnist practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency services to a large local and referral population with approximately 70,000 pediatric visits a year at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals at Mission Bay and Oakland, and Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center (ZSFG).
- Host a fully accredited 4-year Emergency Medicine residency program and multiple fellowship programs, including a fellowship program in Pediatric Emergency.
- Participate in the Pediatric Emergency Care Applied Research Network (PECARN).
- Lead and grow within the Division, Department, and School of Medicine.
Requirements
- Candidates should be board-certified or eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
- Excellence in bedside teaching.
- A strong ethic of service to patients and profession.

Pay
The minimum base salary range for this position is $154,700-$405,900. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
