Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic examinations by expertly positioning patients, setting up all imaging equipment, and accurately selecting technical parameters to capture critical, precise patient data.
- Maintain the highest standards of patient safety and clinical compliance by rigorously implementing safety protocols and performing essential quality control checks on equipment and procedures.
- Analyze image results in real-time to recognize key anatomical structures and potential pathology, ensuring the clarity and diagnostic value of every study for the interpreting physician.
- Document and promptly submit all high-quality images and accurate patient history to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), guaranteeing a complete and timely record for the patient's care team.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- One or more of the following required within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date:
- Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
- Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
- Sonography Tech specializing in Vascular Sonography credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) and from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). General Radiography is also required in addition to any specialty.
- State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board.
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
