Pediatric Diabetes Educator RN - Day Shift

Responsibilities

• Educate patients on diabetes self-care, including nutrition, medication, activity, and glucose testing.
• Collect and analyze health data to support effective management.
• Collaborate with endocrinology providers across outreach clinics to enhance access to specialized diabetes care.
• Provide patient education, support families, and facilitate coordination of care to improve health outcomes related to diabetes management.

Qualifications & Skills

• Nursing degree and current RN licensure.
• Certification as a Diabetes Educator or willingness to obtain certification.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams.
• Knowledge of diabetes management and patient education techniques.
