Pediatric Dentist - St. Louis Children's Hospital in St. Louis, MO
About the role
St. Louis Children's Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Dentist to join the team. The position works 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, rotating Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday depending on patient volume. Call is 6 days per month, rotating holidays and shared with 2 other Dentists. The role covers outpatient, inpatient and surgical settings, dealing with medically complex patients.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, prevent and treat problems with teeth or mouth tissue.
- Observe, evaluate, and apply knowledge of dental skills to provide optimal patient care.
- Diagnose and render appropriate dental care to patients.
- Record all procedures and pertinent information in patients' records.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate the work of clinic staff.
- Educate individuals and their families regarding dental health hygiene.
Requirements
- BC/BE required in Pediatric Dentistry.
- Must have a Pediatric Fellowship.
Qualifications
- Doctorate DDS/DMD from an accredited program in the U.S. or Canada.
- Eligible for certification for a specialty license for pediatric dentistry.
