About the role

St. Louis Children's Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Dentist to join the team.

  • 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (flexible pick)
  • Pick either Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday (depending on patient volume)
  • Call is 6 days per month, rotating holidays, and shared with 2 other Dentists
  • Outpatient, inpatient, and surgeries
  • Medically complex patients
  • Pediatric dentistry BC/BE required
  • This position requires a Pediatric Fellowship

Responsibilities

  • Observe, evaluate, and apply knowledge of dental skills to provide optimal patient care.
  • Diagnose and render appropriate dental care to patients.
  • Fulfill dental consulting requests.
  • Record all procedures and pertinent information in patients' records.
  • Train, supervise, and evaluate the work of clinic staff.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, associates, representatives of public agencies and organizations, and private healthcare providers.
  • Educate individuals and their families regarding dental health hygiene.

Requirements

  • Doctorate (DDS/DMD) from an accredited dental school
  • Licensed Dentist in Missouri
  • Pediatric Dentistry Board eligible/certified
  • Pediatric Fellowship required

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience
  • 2-5 years of supervisory experience
