About the Role
A Pediatric Dentist provides in-office surgical care for pediatric patients, collaborating with Dental Anesthesiologists to ensure safe and efficient procedures. This flexible, part-time position focuses on delivering comprehensive surgical and restorative treatments under sedation in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform restorative and surgical treatments for pediatric patients under sedation
- Work closely with Dental Anesthesiologists to ensure smooth case flow and patient safety
- Deliver care efficiently, confidently, and in compliance with standards
- Collaborate with office teams to maintain patient-centered care
Requirements
- DDS or DMD from an accredited program
- Completion of a CODA-accredited Pediatric Dentistry residency
- Active dental license or eligibility in the practice state
- Current BLS/PALS, DEA, and required credentials
- Nitrous Oxide certification as mandated by state
Additional Information
- Utilizes DentaPro software, digital x-ray, and fiber-optic handpieces
- Supports sedation cases alongside specialists and support staff
- Receives company-paid malpractice insurance and a guaranteed daily rate or percentage of collections
