Responsibilities

• Delivering positive clinical experience to all patients while following strict adherence to company policies as well state dental laws, rules and regulations under the direction and supervision of a Dentist.
• Establishing a trusting rapport with patients, ensuring the Ultimate Patient Experience is delivered to every patient.
• Screening patients during checkups.
• Cleaning accretions, calcareous deposits, and stains from teeth and gums.
• Examining for indications of oral cancer.
• Reviewing a patient’s dental and medical history.
• Maintaining patients’ charts and transcribing the doctor notes accurately.
• Recommending care to improve a patient’s oral health.
• Performing preventive dental care.
• Applying fluoride treatments.
• Taking x-rays and reviewing them for signs of dental diseases.
• Sterilizing and preparing dental instruments.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• A State Hygiene License required.
• A Current CPR Certificate required.
• A Current Hepatitis B vaccination required.

Qualifications

• Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with patients and coworkers.
• Ability to set priorities regarding patient care, manage full schedules and multi-task.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
