Responsibilities
- Delivering positive clinical experience to all patients while following strict adherence to company policies as well as state dental laws, rules, and regulations under the direction and supervision of a Dentist.
- Establishing a trusting rapport with patients, ensuring that the Ultimate Patient Experience is delivered to every patient.
- Screening patients during checkups.
- Cleaning accretions, calcareous deposits, and stains from teeth and gums.
- Examining for indications of oral cancer.
- Reviewing a patient’s dental and medical history.
- Maintaining patients’ charts and transcribing the doctor notes accurately.
- Recommending care to improve a patient’s oral health.
- Performing preventive dental care.
- Applying fluoride treatments.
- Taking x-rays and reviewing them for signs of dental diseases.
- Sterilizing and preparing dental instruments.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- A State Hygiene License required.
- A Current CPR Certificate required.
- A Current Hepatitis B vaccination required.
- Ability to administer local anesthetic agents required.
- A Minimum one (1) year of previous Pediatric Dental experience required.

- Ability to set priorities regarding patient care, manage full schedules, and multi-task.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
