Pediatric Dental Assistant

A busy practice in Victoria, Texas is looking for an experienced dental assistant who has been working in the pediatric dental field or general dental field for a while. Spanish speaking is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during procedures
• Prepare patients for treatment
• Clean and polish teeth
• Administer local anesthesia
• Take and develop x-rays
• Manage patient records

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Dental Assisting or related field
• Current license to practice as a dental assistant in Texas
• At least 2 years of experience in a dental office
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Basic computer skills
