Pediatric Dental Assistant

About the role

Responsible for providing dental care to pediatric patients under the supervision of a dentist. Duties include assisting in examinations, administering local anesthesia, and maintaining patient records.

Responsibilities

• Assist in dental examinations and procedures
• Administer local anesthesia to children
• Maintain patient records and documentation
• Ensure sterilization and safety protocols are followed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current CPR certification
• Experience working with children preferred

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Physical stamina for standing and moving between patients
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of dental terminology
• Good hand-eye coordination
