Pediatric CT Technologist - Weekend Days

Compensation & Incentives

• $10,000 sign-on bonus
• Up to $5,000 relocation assistance for eligible candidates
• Shift differentials up to $3.80 per hour (depending on shift)
• Additional pay for call and overtime

Schedule

Weekend Days (Friday–Sunday), 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM. Participation in the on-call rotation required approximately once every three months; rotating holiday schedule applies.

About the role

CT Technologists at MUSC capture detailed cross-sectional images using cutting-edge CT technology, including networked CT units, dedicated protocol support, and the only photon-counting CT in South Carolina. You will aid in diagnosing and monitoring medical conditions while collaborating closely with care teams to ensure high-quality patient care in a dynamic medical environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT examinations using all available CT imaging resources
• Provide CT imaging services for pediatric patients
• Ensure accurate and efficient imaging for physician interpretation
• Maintain image quality standards and follow established CT protocols
• Deliver compassionate patient care while ensuring patient safety during examinations
• Operate CT equipment safely and effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare teams to support patient diagnosis and treatment

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology
• 0–2 years of modality-specific work experience (at least 1 year of X-ray experience)
• ARRT (R) registration required
• ARRT CT registration must be obtained within 1 year of hire
• South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association licensure required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or AHA-recognized equivalent, or American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider)
