Pediatric Critical Care Physician Associate - Locum Tenens

This role is for a Board-Certified Pediatric Critical Care Physician Associate providing inpatient coverage in a 289-bed pediatric hospital with Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center designation. Responsibilities include managing an average of 7 pediatric patients per shift across four 10-hour shifts weekly, with shifts scheduled from 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM. The role requires performing critical procedures such as cardiac procedures, ECMO, ventilation therapy, CRRT, lumbar puncture, chest tube placement, and ET placement. Qualifications include board certification and prescriptive authority. All documentation must be completed via EPIC EMR. Ideal candidates should possess strong clinical skills, experience with pediatric critical care procedures, and be able to work independently in an inpatient setting.
