Locum Pediatric Critical Care Physician Associate

This role is for a Pediatric Critical Care Physician Associate responsible for inpatient coverage in a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center hospital. The position involves managing an average of 7 pediatric patients per shift, performing advanced procedures such as cardiac interventions, ECMO, ventilation therapy, CRRT, lumbar punctures, chest tubes, and endotracheal placements. The work schedule includes four 10-hour shifts weekly, either from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM, with no call requirements. Qualifications include board certification and prescriptive authority. All clinical documentation is completed via EPIC EMR. The role demands clinical expertise in critical pediatric care, procedural skills, and the ability to manage a pediatric patient population effectively. Additional key duties involve patient management, performing complex procedures, and ensuring documentation compliance.
