Responsibilities
- Patient care in the Pediatric Cardiac Care Center
- Clinical evaluation and management of critically ill pediatric patients
- Development and implementation of treatment plans
- Performance of procedures under supervision
- Multidisciplinary rounds participation
- Care coordination
- Academic contributions by participating in education of APP students, residents, and fellows
- Quality improvement initiatives and committee involvement
Requirements
- Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) certification
- 1–2 years of relevant pediatric critical care or acute care experience preferred
Qualifications
- Master's degree as a Nurse Practitioner, active New York State Registered Nurse license, active New York State Nurse Practitioner licensure, and current national certification as a Nurse Practitioner for NPs
- Completion of an ARC-PA approved Physician Assistant program, active New York State Physician Assistant licensure, and current national certification as a Physician Assistant by NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants) for PAs

Pay
Range: $98,010.00 - $137,218.00
Schedule
Rotating 13-hour shifts with days, nights, weekends, and holidays
